Touched by light,
stepping out on quick feet,
long hair, milk-soft, and honey-wise,
trimmed with clover and gladness,
dew-decked,
nectar-sweet,
and still my bride.

Matthew is an writer, artist, musician, and medievalist from Halifax, Nova Scotia. His work explores the connections that bind the cosmic to the ordinary. He is currently teaching in the Foundation Year Program at University of King’s College.
